I often have people ask me what’s happening with Bundall Road, so here you have it..

The Queensland Government is creating a third traffic lane in each direction by removing the on-street parking. A shared off-road cycle and pedestrian pathway will also be constructed along most of the eastern side.

oad works continue from Vespa Crescent in Bundall, through to Monaco Street Bridge in Sorrento. The upgrade of Bundall Road is expected to be completed late this year, in preparation for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

This upgrade will address the traffic congestion through peak hours, allowing vehicles to travel more efficiently through the intersection. So what may be seen as nothing but a pain now will actually benefit us all in future use.
